The Appalachian Development Alliance:

In the year 2000, eight Eastern Kentucky regional economic development organizations came together to form the Appalachian Development Alliance (ADA). The Alliance members have 140 years of combined experience among them. The previous decade saw the eight organizations loan a total of $75 million, with $350 million in private funds invested. The group can take credit for creating or saving 14,500 jobs in the region. ADA is a certified CDFI.
